Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary

Calling all local animal lovers to this one Ashnah gig where we get all sorts – donkies of course, snakes, ducks, geese, chickens, pigs – it’s great to see rescued and happy animals just chillin’ J

We bumped into our favourite African drummers ODT who were strutting their stuff, saw some Irish dancing, heard a nice choir singing, walked through all manner of stalls and yes, all under the sun!

Yet another successful community event for a good cause.

This yearly invitation and all others like it come around so quickly – I must be getting younger and having so much fun!  The invitation was extended to all manner of Morris Dancing sides and we proceed to perform around town.

We were very fortunate inasmuch as the bulk of our dancing happened under bluish skies; we did get caught though en route to our final gig and got drenched but hey, I’m not complaining!
